Through it all, Caroline kept beating the bushes and finding me things to look at in my price range, often getting me in through her connections for early looks and helping me put together preemptive offers on places that suited my esoteric list of needs. Through her astute help I succeeded in winning multiple bids and landed in escrow several times - before I finally settled on the house I really wanted, that I felt was really worth the price I had to pay. Despite several false starts, and months of effort, she never got frustrated with me, and often went far out of her way to alert me to anything even remotely promising.
